L’Odyssée
Parlons de ce film de Jérome Salle sorti en Octobre avec Wilson Lambert, Audrey Tautou et Pierre Niney: L’Odyssée.
Il retrace l’histoire d’un homme, le commandant Jacques-Yves Cousteau, qui a su réunir autour de lui des hommes, tout autant passionnés que lui par la mer et par la découverte de l’inconnu. A quoi les reconnaissait-on? A leurs fameux bonnets rouges.
A une époque où les hommes exploraient l’espace, le commandant Cousteau et son équipe exploraient les fonds marins en s’inspirant de Jules Verne et de ses Vingt Mille lieux sous la mer. Son objectif était de créer des instruments de plus en plus performants (dont les scaphandres autonomes) et de faire découvrir les fonds marins à son public. Son documentaire le plus fameux, Un monde sans soleil, obtient l’oscar du meilleur film documentaire en 1965.
Mais Jacques Cousteau était avant tout un entrepreneur qui est parti de rien.
Il lui a fallu du courage et le soutien de ses proches pour débuter ses tournages, puis acheter et rénover le bateau de ses rêves, la Calypso (navire qu’il gardera toute sa vie) et enfin mener ses expéditions.
Il a monté une véritable entreprise avec plus d’une centaine de salariés. Ses projets se sont réalisés grâce à l’aide d’un de ses fils, Philippe (pour le tournage) et de sa femme, Simone (mère de l’équipage).
Malgré tout, il reste un personnage controversé pendant une grande partie de sa vie, en tant que père, mari, et défenseur des mers et des océans.
On vous rassure cependant, le commandant décide de changer de cap sur la fin de sa vie. Il crée avec son fils Philippe la Cousteau Society, une fondation qui œuvre pour la préservation de l’écosystème des fonds marins.
Nous avons été conquis par les images des fonds marins et l’histoire de cet homme. Celle ci nous démontre que tout est possible. Nos rêves et notre volonté nous poussent à avancer et à accomplir chacun des petits pas nécessaires à la réalisation d’un grand projet. Mais nous croyons aussi que la fin ne justifie pas pour autant les moyens. Une belle réflexion à tirer de cette magnifique aventure entrepreneuriale. Notre conseil: allez le voir!
