As a young boy, Philippe Robigo’s discovery of Van Gogh’s Caf\u00e9 de Nuit was an artistisic revelation to which he owes his vocation as an artist.
\nEnrolled at the \u00c9cole Estienne (now renamed l\u2019\u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure des arts et industries graphiques in Paris), he studied the design of signs and symbols. This was reinforced by his encounter with the Compagnons de Lure who organize international meetings every summer, during which guest graphic designers, typographers and editors meet to present and discuss key aspects of their professions, the creation of typefaces, graphic design, new technology and, more generally, everything that influences the future of this industry over the coming decades. His apprenticeship in graphic design and communication taught him a meticulous precision and attention to detail, which would serve him well both as a designer and as an artist.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
